Byron Harlan Eborn passed away peacefully at home on November 15, 2023. Byron was born on September 17, 1932, in Pegram, Idaho to Harlan and Agnes Ebron. He was raised in Lanark, Idaho and moved to Montpelier, Idaho after his marriage to the love of his life, Lois Aland Eborn on November 30, 1953, in the Salt Lake Temple. He served in the Army during the Korean Conflict. During his lifetime, he was employed by the Union Pacific Railroad, Montpelier Police Department, Allingers Lanes and Walton Feed.
Later in life he enjoyed mowing his large yard and watching the sun sparkle on the sprinklers as they watered the lawn, and he served his neighbors.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Lois Eborn, Doug Eborn (Kandi), Montpelier ID. Lynda Eborn, West Jordan, UT. Jerri Dunkley (Michael), North Ogden, UT. Debbie Clapp (Tom), Knoxville, TN.
He was blessed with 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Harold (Sherrie) and his sister, Gayle.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, J.T. and Jim and a sister, Afton Roberts, son-in-law Michael Dunkley, and grandsons, Nathanael Dunkley and Tyrel Anderson.
His funeral will be held on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, and will be buried in the Montpelier Cemetery. There will be a viewing Monday from 6 to 7 at the Mortuary and again from 9 to 10:45 at the Montpelier 3rd/5th Ward Chapel.
