Kent Winters Ranck was born May 23, 1939 to Clarence Eugene Ranck, Jr and Letha Winters Ranck. He died May 30th, 2019 in Montpelier Idaho- one week after his 80th birthday. Kent was preceded in death by his parents, and his sister Jean. He is survived by his sister Vera (Myrl) Louder and many nieces and nephews.
Kent attended his early school years in Hoytsville, Utah near his home and graduated from North Summit High School in Coalville, Utah. Kent was an excellent student and received scholarship offers from colleges throughout the country but chose to attend the University of Utah to stay near his family. He served an LDS mission to Pennsylvania and spent time in the military.
At the time of his passing Kent was living in Montpelier, Idaho having moved there to be near his sister Vera and her husband Myrl. There he enjoyed some of his happiest times and met his special friend, Denise. Kent was active in the LDS church where he was most recently called to be a temple worker, but passed away before he was able to fill the calling.
